The hotel is located in the Calle Corregidor Luis de la Cerda 83, in the very heart of historic old town. Adjacent lie not only the legendary Mosque (Mezquita) and the cathedral, but also numerous Cordoba attractions, including Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos (Royal Fortress) and the Puente Romano (Roman Bridge). Guests will find restaurants, bars and clubs as well as links to the public transport network and shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. It is around 10 km to Cordoba Airport.

The hotel building dates back to a time before the construction of the Mezquita began. In fact, the so-called Alarifes, the builders of the Mezquita, used to reside in what is today the hotel. In medieval times, this establishment was one of the most significant throughout the Iberian peninsula. Due to its fantastic location right by Via Augusta, an ancient Roman military and trade route, the hotel was popular with colonists and merchants, as the studies of archaeologist Laura Aparicio indicate. It is also worth mentioning that famous Christopher Columbus, during his stay in Cordoba, lived in what is today room number 204. The hotel, as you find it today, opened in March 2007 after extensive restoration. It provides not only the charm of an ancient establishment, but also all modern amenities to make your stay pleasant and even unforgettable. When it comes to events and planning of sightseeing trips, the hotel staff are on hand to assist. This charming historical city hotel comprises a total of 21 rooms, 20 double rooms and 1 single room, and the facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a cafe, a breakfast room and a laundry service (for an additional fee).Reservations must be cancelled by 1800 hours (6 pm) at least 1 day before the day of arrival to avoid a penalty of 1 night's stay plus tax.By bus: Guests may take bus numbers 3 and 4. By car: Guests arriving from Seville should take the highway A4/E5, and then exit 401 for Centro Historico/Mercacordoba. Continue along Avenue Calle Compositor Rafael Castro with the river on the left hand side. At the end of the avenue, take the first turning on the right. Continue past Ronda de Isasa until the second bridge on the left comes into sight. Keeping the river on the left hand side, take the first turning on the right to Santa Teresa de Jornet, then take the first turning on the right to Amador de los Rios. Go straight on, and the hotel is at Corregidor Luis de la Cerda 83. Guests arriving from Madrid should take highway A4/E5 and then exit at junction 401 for Centro Historico/Mercacordoba. Continue on Avenue Calle Compositor Rafael Castro. With the river on the left, continue to the end of the avenue and take the first turning on the right. Go past Ronda de Isasa until the second bridge on the left comes into sight. Keeping the river on the left hand side, take the first turning on the right to Santa Teresa de Jornet, then the first turning on the right to Amador de los Rios. Go straight on, and the hotel is at Corregidor Luis de la Cerda 83. Guests coming from Granada should follow the signs to Madrid, and once in Cordoba, follow signs to the Mercacordoba and use the instructions above.
